O Christmas Tree, so pristine
Berried in English clotted creame
An echo of jingly bells
Yuletide fully swells
Bear hugs all around
Merry carols; ultra sound
Cozy stuffed stockings steep
Warm memories to keep
The assembly too soon gone
Still above and beyond
Mary’s dear newborn Child
Was to the world avowed

NOEL

Joan

This is a poem of the season
Its words, its verse, its song
A colorful, frost-clad vision
Journeying in hearts ‘ere long

Memories framed in golden hue

Of sweetest dreams come true

A cone fir tree set aglow

Silver bells echo so clear
Snowflakes dance soft and slow
Christmas day draws near
And hushed refrains become
A joyous merry hum

Even as red ribbons are tied

Promising enchantment tenfold

A wondrous star appears as guide
The timeless story is retold

 And the Earth reveals

The joy it feels
