Light from the moon spills across your face where the curtain was left parted

 Even though we are inside

Buried under sleeping bags it still feels as if it’s below freezing

You sigh

Icy cold air comes out of your mouth

Forming shapes between us

Outside a cloud moves in front of the moon

Every line and crease on your face disappears

All that’s left is your silhouette

And this too I can barely see

You move

I can hear the rustle of your sleeping bag

As your pull yourself into a sitting position

Once again a cloud outside moves

Bringing the moon back into view

And you with it
