A mad witch named Modella,
Jealous as could be,
Cast a spell upon a fairy,
Never to be set free.
Stella’s in a bubble under the witch’s spell,
Does the prince love her, or will he never tell?
With his bow and arrow taught,
Hanging by his side,
Sword and shield at the ready,
And steed under his thigh.
Stella’s in a bubble under the witch’s spell,
Does the prince love her, or will he never tell?
On the war road Charles went,
Under the fairy’s close eye,
Killing whatever might try him first,
Strong, careful, and sly.
Stella’s in a bubble under the witch’s spell,
Does the prince love her, or will he never tell?
Onto the snow the moonlight gleamed,
Charles hair gleamed as gold.
Scratching and bouncing, kicking and screaming,
She wanted to be let go.
Stella’s in a bubble under the witch’s spell,
Does the prince love her, or will he never tell?
As the words left his lips,
Oh how that bubble popped.
The fairy came tumbling down and down.
“I love her, and I won’t stop.”
Stella’s been set free, freed from the witch’s spell,
The prince will always love her and he will always tell.
“I promise my heart to you Stella,
I’ll love you ‘til my death,
You’re my best friend, will you be my wife,
Until my last true breath?”
Stella’s in a bubble, under the Prince’s love spell,
Only to love him, and they will always tell.
